Shaquille O’Neal, also known as DJ Diesel, will be performing at the Diamond Club on the Croatian island of Krk later this month.

The famous former basketball player turned DJ is returning to Krk where he performed last year at the Diamond Club in Malinska.

Images from his last year, particularly O’Neal’s interaction on Diamond Club’s stage with NBA stars Luka Dončić and Goran Dragić, made their way into numerous international media outlets, including Sky Sport, Mundo Deportivo, and Bleacher Report.

With his DJ set, a combination of trap, EDM, and hip-hop, he ignited the atmosphere in front of several thousand locals and tourists.

“I can confidently say that I love entertainment. I love bringing a smile to people’s faces, interacting with them, and creating moments that they will remember for a lifetime. I try to achieve all of that in my DJ set,” says O’Neal.

Shaq has already released several rap albums during his sports career, with his first album titled ‘Shaq Diesel,’ released in 2003, selling over a million copies and reaching 25th place on the Billboard chart.

He became the first athlete with a platinum album. However, the turning point that changed his life happened in 2014 when he visited the Tomorrowland festival and discovered electronic dance music. The following year, he performed at the same festival as DJ Diesel.

“I am a bass DJ through and through. I am thrilled by heavy bass, dubstep, trap, experimental music, and everything in between. That’s the energy I personally want and need, so I listen to it on planes, in cars, at the gym, and everywhere else,” emphasises the DJ, whom they also call the world’s greatest entertainer due to his towering height of 2.16 meters.
