Croatia WeekIt was one of the biggest parties of the summer when it made its debut in Croatia last year with more than 70,000 party-goers attending, now the 2nd edition of the Ultra Music Festival is just months away, and the time is now to start preparing with demand for tickets once again high. One novel way to experience the world’s premiere electronic music festival is to rock up to the destination by boat…

Croatian agency Sailing.hr, who specialise in sailing holidays, have teamed up with Travel2Ultra partner of Ultra Music festival organisers to offer festival goers a week of a lifetime. Sail2Ultra is one week of sailing and partying on board your own sailboat with your own skipper,whilst also taking in the Ultra Europe Festival 2014. Although line-ups have yet to be announced, 2014 is set to be just as spectacular as the debut 2013 year when some of the world’s top DJ’s such as Armin Van Buuren, Fedde Legrand, AVICII, Carl Cox, Hardwell, Steve Aoki, and Afrojack all performed at the sell-out festival.

Sail2Ultra will see 150 yachts with more than 1,000 people on board from all over the world sailing together on a 7-day sail thought the beautiful Croatian archipelago, taking in some hidden bays, and also traditional old towns where you can enjoy authentic Dalmatian cuisine and dance the night away to the sounds spun by more than 5 resident DJ’s.

With accommodation at a premium during the four-day festival, which will be held in Split from 11-13 July and on 14 July at a destination yet to be revealed, you can take the hassle out of your trip by staying on the boat. Sail2Ultra offer two packages – one which sets sail from the 5-12 July, and another post festival offer which departs on 12 July and sails until 19 July. Sail2Ultra will do all the organising for you, including transfers to the marina and airport.
