Rijeka’s live webcam, which looks out onto the Croatian National Theatre, was rated among the best in the world due to its top quality picture, original content and technical support. Rijeka, on Croatia’s Kvarner Bay, was in the company of the likes of Sydney, Toronto and Venice in the top 10.
The Rijeka Tourist Board have recognised the potential in the popularity of the live webcam and have recently announced that new production technology will be introduced to the current live webcam.

Rijeka making the TOP 10 is the 7th individual award for Live Cam Croatia, which has been recognised as one of the best webcam systems of this type in the world. The live webcam in Baška Voda was ranked the best live webcam of the month last June, whiilst live webcams in Novi Vinodolski and Darurvar have also made the Top 10 best views list in the past.
The best live webcams are chosen by a panel of EarthCam producers who select the best out of hundreds of popular webcam submissions.
