One of Croatia’s most popular tourist destinations could be in for a record 2013 tourist season. The southern Adriatic hot spot Dubrovnik will be connected by air travel to 118 destinations in Europe and Asia this year, two more destinations that its record year in 2012, Dubrovnik airport announced.
The largest expansion will come from Scandinavian tourist market, where 43% more flights are expected in 2013. 722 flights are expected from Scandinavia this year, up from 506 flights in 2012.
Last year’s record tourist year saw 4,033 flights, with 4,096 already announced for this year.
