Popular Google Public Transport Service to Launch in Zagreb Tomorrow

zgtams3Google’s popular free application Transit will be officially launched in Zagreb on Tuesday…

Commuters in Croatia’s capital will, with the help of the application Transit, be able to check quickly via their smartphones, laptops or tablets when the next bus, train or tram will be arriving in the city. The app also has a useful trip-planner feature for those less familiar with the city. Google Transit and Zagreb’s public transport authority Z.E.T (Zagrebački električni tramvaj) have been working in partnership to have Zagreb added to the network of over 80 cities in North America and Europe. Zagreb is the first city in Croatia which will have the service.

Zagreb Mayor Milan Bandić will present Transit – Zagreb and officially launch it tomorrow.
