Kanstantsin Siutsou from Bahrain-Merida Pro Cycling Team has won the fourth edition of the Tour of Croatia international cycling race which ended in Zagreb on Sunday. Bahrain-Merida Pro Cycling Team also won the title of the best team of this year’s race.
“I would like to thank my team Bahrain Merida on a very good work during the race. We are happy that we managed to defend the overall title from last year, one that our team member Vincenzo Nibali won on Tour Of Croatia 2017. We came to this race to make good preparation for upcoming race Giro d`Italia”, Siutsou said after the race.
Riders from 21 teams, including four World Tour teams, took part this year in the six-stage race over 1,000 kilometers throughout Croatia.
The start and finish line of each stage were:
Karlovac – Zadar
Trogir – PP Biokovo (St. Jure)
Starigrad (NP Paklenica) – Crikvenica
Rabac – Poklon (PP Učka)
Samobor – Zagreb (St. Mark’s Square)
