Filming of the action film “Robin Hood: Origins” in Dubrovnik, the biggest Hollywood production to be shot in Croatia to date, started on Monday.

This is the most ambitious Hollywood project to be produced in Croatia, with an impressive lists of Hollywood stars, including Jamie Foxx, Jamie Dornan, Taron Egeron and Eve Hewson.

The well-known Dubrovnik locations – Stradun, the city walls and the Posat harbour – find themselves standing in as Nottingham.

There was plenty of action on day one, with Egeron, dressed as Robin Hood, exchanging a kiss with Hewson, who plays Maid Marion, in one of the scenes.
