Based in the Croatian city of Koprivnica and founded in 1934, Podravka is one of the largest food companies in Southeast Europe and has the iconic Vegeta in its portfolio.

In recent days, a new mural has been completed, depicting a man holding a rooster in his hand and standing next to a bicycle. The mural is located on the side of the Podravka silo, at a height of forty meters, covering an area of 300 square meters.

The new artistic masterpiece was created by the popular Croatian street artist Boris Bare.

The entrance to Koprivnica is now adorned with a mural that represents key symbols of Podravka’s tradition and the city of Koprivnica in a contemporary way.

The mural has replaced the popular rooster sign, which had been a longstanding symbol of Podravka’s silos at the entrance to the city.

“I thank Boris for successfully completing this project and turning our vision into a true work of art. The Mamuze Association for the Promotion of Culture and Art from Koprivnica greatly assisted us in finding the author. The mural is evidence of our commitment to art and the preservation of tradition in a contemporary way,” said Sanja Garaj Miloš, Director of Corporate Marketing at Podravka.

Boris Bare is a Croatian street artist from Zagreb, known as the founder of the “Pimp My Pump” association and for the artistic project Art Park.

In addition, he has painted numerous solo murals in cities across Croatia, as well as around the world. His works also adorn Colombian cities such as Bogotá and Medellín, as well as the German city of Berlin.

Once again, Podravka has demonstrated its appreciation for and preservation of its tradition while contributing to the development of the local community’s culture. It’s worth noting that Podravka owns a valuable art collection within its headquarters and its own Museum of Nutrition. Alongside preserving tradition and valuable symbols, Podravka successfully keeps pace with contemporary trends.
