[PHOTOS] Impressive Makeover for Šibenik’s Brodarica Beach

Over 1.5 million euros is to be pumped into Brodarica beach near Šibenik on the Dalmatian coast…

The makeover at Brodarica beach, which will commence at the end of the summer season, is expected to take 6 months. Šibenik firm Inovator have just won the tender to renovate the town beach in the popular holiday spot just south of Šibenik.

The complete makeover will see a host of new features for both kids and adults added to the 500-metre long beach. There will be a picturesque new promenade lined with cafes, restaurants and public toilets as well as playgrounds for kids, an exercise area, basketball and volleyball courts, and and things to do for the adrenaline junkies.

The beach will be set up in themed stages, with the quiet eastern part of the beach intended for families, the middle section for young kids and the western part for youngsters after activities such as jet-skiing and kayaking. The beach will also be invalid-friendly with ramps set up at the entrance.
