Over the past five days, Zagreb’s historic centre was illuminated with cutting-edge lighting solutions based on the latest lighting technologies as the Festival of Lights was held.

From 16-20 March, the Croatian capital hosted another edition of the increasingly popular Festival of Lights.

Part art, part design, architecture and entertainment spectacle, attractive light installations were displayed at many locations around the city, such as the Croatian National Theatre, Grič Tunnel, Lotrščak Tower, Strossmayer promenade, Gradec plateau and around Tuškanac and many others.

The specifically lit facades of downtown buildings, installations, and special art programs attracted a large number of casual and intentional passers-by over the five days who, for a moment at least, were shown a completely different, more colourful, more dazzling world around them.
