31 March 2019 – After a lot of effort and organisation, the first ever ‘Bila noć’ (White Night) has been held in Canada.

Bila noć, a night of celebration in honour of Croatian football club Hajduk Split has been a tradition in Croatia and in other parts of the world where Hajduk Friends Societies have been set up such as across Germany, Australia and the United States.

Last night’s first Bila noć in Canada was organised by the Hajduk Friends Society – Društvo prijatelja Hajduka / DPH St. Catharines and was took place at the Croatian National Centre in the Niagara Region in Ontario.

The night, which was a complete sell-out, was a success with entertainment provided by the band “Grupa Volta”.
