The Croatian Women’s Network/Mreža Hrvatskih Žena has presented the 24 winners of the coveted Croatian Women of Influence Award and Future Leaders Award at a gala in Zagreb last week.

Awards were presented at a gala event on International Women’s Day, Thursday, March 8, 2018, at the Sheraton Zagreb following a day-long conference: Advancing Women, Advancing Economies. Realize the Potential!

“Recognizing and celebrating the accomplishments of women of Croatian heritage is incredibly uplifting to the nominees and award winners and their respective communities,” said CarolineSpivak, Founder, Croatian Women’s Network and the Croatian Women of Influence awards.

“Our more than 75 award winners, selected from 175 nominees over the last three years, report that they enjoy continued success and are inspired by the collective achievement of these extraordinary women.”

Twenty-four winners were selected out of fifty-five nominations representing Austria, Australia, Bosnia & Hercegovina, Canada, Chile, Germany, Italy, Republic of Croatia, and United States of America.

The Croatian Women of Influence Award recognizes leadership, innovation and community impact of women of Croatian ancestry from the Republic of Croatia and the vast Croatian diaspora.
