Alana Beachclub Opens in Starigrad Paklenica (PR)

The newly renovated Bluesun hotel Alan has opened its doors on Sunday in the town of Starigrad-Paklenica.

Situated in the far north-western part of the Zadar region in northern Dalmatia, Starigrad-Paklenica impresses visitors with its location at the foot of the Velebit Mountains, and near the beautiful Paklenica National Park.

The hotel is now called Alana Beachclub and thanks to its facilities and proximity to the national park, it specializes in active holidays.


There is a large sailing bay for water sports, like wakeboarding, kayaking, and sailing, as well as a climbing wall at the beachclub, or rock climbing in the national park.


There is also a spa with indoor hydromassage whirlpool, resistance swimming pool with waterfall, hot tubs, steam bath and three types of saunas. There are 6 new tennis courts, with the tennis programme at the beachclub run by Mark Petchy, who was World No.1 Andy Murray’s trainer.


There are other activities such as fitness, outdoor table tennis, beach volleyball and mini golf on offer too, as well as a kid’s club to keep the youngsters active.
