OKTOBEER FEST coming to Zagreb – set to be biggest festival in Croatia 

Following in the footsteps of global beer festivals, Croatia is set to welcome its own large-scale autumn celebration — OKTOBEER FEST.

The event will take place from 10 to 19 October 2025 at Zagreb Fair (Zagrebački velesajam), spanning an impressive 47,000 square metres.

While the full programme is still under wraps, organisers have revealed a glimpse of what visitors can expect — and it promises to be one of the season’s most exciting events.

OKTOBEER FEST will offer a large selection of both Croatian and international cuisine, paired with top-quality beers.

In the Croatian tent, visitors will be able to sample traditional specialities infused with local beer flavours, offering a unique culinary twist.

For those who enjoy international tastes, the German tent will bring a slice of Bavaria to Zagreb, complete with premium German brews and classic festival dishes reminiscent of those served at traditional Oktoberfest events.

The Czech tent will feature a similar experience, offering Czech beer and authentic dishes for fans of their world-renowned brewing culture. In addition, a dedicated wine tent is in the works, showcasing winemakers from across Croatia along with carefully matched gourmet bites.

Over one hundred stalls and dozens of charming food houses will fill the festival grounds, with delicious aromas and mouth-watering delicacies on offer throughout.

OKTOBEER FEST is designed for all ages, with something for every member of the family. In addition to great music and excellent food and drink, there will be a large amusement park and a dedicated children’s area, sure to delight younger visitors.

Although the full programme is still to be revealed, the details released so far suggest that OKTOBEER FEST could well be the highlight of Croatia’s autumn festival calendar.
