New Croatian airline Fly Air41 receives air operator’s certificate

New Croatian charter and leasing airline has begun its operations for German Sundair. On Tuesday, August 17, 2021, Fly Air41 Airways performed its demonstration flight and received its air operator’s certificate (AOC) from the Croatian Civil Aviation Agency (CCAA).

Experienced pilots and crew of Fly Air41 Airways have successfully completed the necessary flights. On Tuesday at 12:10 local time, Airbus A319 with registration 9A-BER took off from Zagreb, headed first towards Dubrovnik, then towards Pula and returned to Zagreb at 16:00, the company said in a statement.

From now on, the 9A-BER will be stationed in Leipzig and transport guests on behalf of Sundair. The first commercial flight is scheduled for August 20 for Corfu.

The two companies are also visually interconnected, as the 9A-BER has the Sundair logo on its tail. Two more A320 aircraft will join the fleet in the next few weeks.
