Primošten, the popular seaside town located between Šibenik and Trogir on the Dalmatian coast has a new attraction.

In the sea at the entrance to the old part of town of Primošten, a monument dedicated to fishermen was erected this week.

The monument is another in a series of tourist attractions in Primošten.

Another monument dedicated to fishermen was erected in 2016 on the newly renovated waterfront next to the old stone column where old fishermen used to moor.

The biggest attraction in the town is the 17-meter tall monument to Our Lady of Loreto on Gaj hill, which has become a pilgrimage station.
