The most beautiful Dalmatian crowned in race for Miss World Croatia title

The new Miss Split-Dalmatia County for Miss Croatia 2023 was crowned last night at the Mandrach club in Split. 

The winner is twenty-one-year-old Anđela Anterić from Kaštel Stari, a journalism undergraduate student at the Faculty of Political Sciences in Zagreb. 

She is fluent in English, and has passive knowledge of Italian and French. Anđela emphasises that entering the Miss competition was a challenge for her and that it’s an ideal opportunity for young girls. She believes that all opportunities should be fully utilised in a positive sense.

She loves traveling and gets excited every time she has the chance to embark on a new journey. She’s into fitness and enjoys it.

Eighteen-year-old Mia Bočina from Split was named the first runner-up and nineteen-year-old Ivona Mamić from Split was the second runner-up.

At the competition, designer Ivona Glavaš presented her collection, showcasing what her Anovi design brand offers, along with the Trend boutique from Sinj.

The expert judging panel included Andrea Šušnjara, a singer from the popular group Magazin, and, among others, the renowned tenor from Otok near Sinj, Mate Grgat, who, alongside Petar Dragojević, performed at this evening of fashion and beauty.

The program was hosted by the well-known radio presenter from Radio Dalmacija, Edita Lučić Jelić, and Frano Ridjan.

Former Miss Split-Dalmatia County, Marita Šegvić, crowned her new successor and wished her great success at the Miss Croatia for Miss World finals at the end of the year.

“We would like to thank the Mandrach club restaurant and Tinel restaurant for their hospitality, as well as the Mis by Ivana Radić flower shop, Ljiljana hair salon, and Zara makeup studio from Šibenik, who will prepare the new Miss Split-Dalmatia County well for the grand finals and the celebration of the 30th anniversary of this prestigious beauty pageant in Croatia,” said Iva Loparić Kontek, the owner of the license and director of Miss Croatia for Miss World.
