Michael Bolton returning to Croatia after 14 years

American musician, composer, and singer Michael Bolton will perform again in Croatia this summer.

Bolton will perform on the Summer Stage Open Air Theatre in Opatija on Croatia’s northern Adriatic on July 6, 2023. It will be Bolton’s first performance in Croatia in 14 years.

Bolton performed in 2009 at the Pula Arena.

Bolton music career started in the 1970s as a composer and singer in the heavy metal band Blackjack. He released his first solo album in 1976, but he achieved real success in the 1980s with albums like “The Hunger” and “Soul Provider,” which became platinum.

Bolton is known for his powerful and emotional voice, which reached its peak in the 1990s with hits like “How Am I Supposed to Live Without You,” “When a Man Loves a Woman,” and “Time, Love and Tenderness.” He has sold over 75 million albums worldwide.

Bolton has received numerous awards, including two Grammys and two American Music Awards. In addition to his solo career, he has collaborated with many other musicians such as Luciano Pavarotti, Celine Dion, Ray Charles, Kenny G, and Kiss. In 2011, he recorded the humorous song “Jack Sparrow” with the Lonely Island group, which became an internet success.

Aside from music, Bolton is involved in humanitarian work and is the founder of the Michael Bolton Charities organisation, which focuses on helping children and victims of domestic violence.
