The 3rd edition of MEETING G2 (Meeting Second Generation), which connects Croatians abroad with people and business opportunities in Croatia, will be held in Zagreb from 6-8 November 2017.
MEETING G2.3 – Croatia, full of business potential will take place at the Forum Congress Centre in the Croatian capital from 6-8 November 2017.
This is the continuation of MEETING G2.1 and MEETING G2.2 business conferences which have seen more than 100 successful business people from 23 countries, including Argentina, Australia, Austria, Bolivia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Canada, Chile, Columbia, Croatia, Ecuador, Finland, France, Germany, Great Britain, Hungary, Macedonia, Paraguay, Peru, Slovenia, South Africa, Switzerland, the United States of America and Venezuela take part.
The aim of the first conference was to attract business entrepreneurs, business persons of Croatian origin and international companies with Croatian capital, and also the entrepreneurs and promoters of projects from Croatia to present various possibilities and ways of investing in Croatia to link the Croats from abroad with state agencies and private projects in Croatia to introduce the legal framework for investments in Croatia, and the possibility of using European Community funds.
The second conference was composed of nine panel discussions on topics such as innovations, from exports and privatization to the branding of Croatia, development of health tourism, and alternative sources of energy. All those ideas were enriched by the innovative ideas of top specialists. We provided the popular Open Hour time for government and public sector representatives’ answers on questions posed by participants from abroad. We also organized a business excursion to Rijeka for all registered participants.
The third conference will include panel discussions on ways of attracting investors from the Croatian diaspora and advocating for their interests, the discussion on how to promote Croatian products from the whole world throughout the whole world, and the interesting combination of Croatia as a clean and ecological country on the one hand, and a small but strong industrial force on the other.
On the first day of the Conference, each participant shall have the opportunity present themselves and their company to the rest of the participants during the “Who’s who in G2“ session.
