Despite crashing out early from this year’s US Open, which finished on Sunday with another title to Rafa Nadal, Marin Čilić has broken into the Top 5 on the ATP rankings for the first time in his career.

Čilić is now ranked No.5 in the world after the latest ATP rankings were released on Monday.

The next best ranked Croatian is Ivo Karlović who dropped 11 places to No.49, whilst Borna Ćorić moved up to No.56 from No.61.
