Manchester United Scouts Coming to Split for Croatian Derby

ManuEnglish football giants Manchester Untied have announced that they will be sending one of their scouts to Croatia’s ‘eternal derby’ between Hajduk Split and Dinamo Zagreb, which will played at Split’s Poljud stadium on Saturday, daily Jutarnji list reports….

Manchester United’s scout will be keeping an eye on a number of young promising players from both Dinamo Zagreb and Hajduk Split who will be on the pitch on Saturday. Manchester United’s rivals Chelsea recently signed Hajduk Split’s Mario Pašilić and the Red Devils maybe targeting a young Croatian of their own. Teenage prodigy Alen Halilović will also play a part on Saturday, however Barcelona have already won the race for his signature.

Besides the United scout, the club says that there has been huge interest in the match from foreign media, with Italian, German, Polish and American media all applying for accreditation. Croatia coach Niko Kovač will also attend the match with brother Robert.
