Mamma Mia: Here We Go Again!, the sequel to the Broadway musical turned blockbuster starring Meryl Streep and Pierce Brosnan, has begun shooting on the Croatian island of Vis.
Some of the crew started arriving late last week on the island, and judging by some of their social media posts, they seem to be impressed by Croatia’s farthest inhabited island.
Some of the actors who will star in the sequel currently on Vis include Jeremy Irvine, who will play a young Sam (Pierce Brosnan) and Lily James, who plays a young Donna (Meryl Streep).
Actress Jessica Keenan Wynn, who plays a young Tanya (Christine Baranski) told her fans on Instagram that she had ‘arrived in paradise’.
“I apologise for the obscene scenic photos over the next 5 weeks,” she warned fans.
Alexa Davies, who plays a young Rosie (Julie Walters), having fun on Vis.
Mamma Mia: Here We Go Again! will also star Amanda Seyfried, Colin Firth, and Stellan Skarsgård.
