Loyal Croatian fans to benefit from new cheaper $60 World Cup tickets

World football’s governing body, FIFA, has informed national associations participating in the World Cup that it is introducing a new category of tickets aimed at rewarding the most loyal supporters.

Under the new policy, around ten per cent of the capacity allocated for fan sections will be moved from the existing lowest-priced “value tier” into a new category called the “entry tier”.

Tickets in this category will be priced at a fixed rate of US$60 for all matches and for all national teams at the World Cup.

These tickets will not be available through FIFA’s standard ticket application or sales platform. Instead, FIFA has instructed national football associations to distribute them directly to their most dedicated fans.

Supporters holding entry-tier tickets will be seated in the upper sections of the fan stands, but will benefit from the most affordable pricing available at the tournament.

In line with FIFA’s guidelines, the Croatian Football Federation (HNS) has confirmed it will allocate these tickets to supporters who are members of the HNS Loyalty Programme and who have demonstrated consistent attendance at Croatia national team matches.

Specifically, the top 530 supporters on the Loyalty Programme rankings will be eligible to apply.

To qualify, fans must have attended at least 13 Croatia matches over the past five years.

Each eligible supporter will be entitled to purchase up to two tickets per match, subject to availability.

Tickets from this new entry-level category will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis among eligible supporters once sales begin, in accordance with the limited capacity available.

Eligible fans will be notified of their right to purchase and the application process by the end of December.
