Latest FIFA Rankings: Croatia jumps ahead of Spain

24 October 2019 – Croatia has jumped up one place on the latest FIFA Rankings which where released on Thursday. 

Following the international break earlier this month, which saw Croatia beat Hungary (3-0) and draw with Wales (1-1), FIFA has revealed its latest world rankings. Croatia overtook Spain to move into 7th place. 

Belgium have retained the no.1 ranking, ahead of World Cup winners France and Brazil.

Croatia’s EURO 2020 group opponents Wales fell one place to 24th, whilst Slovakia, who Croatia will face in their final qualifier, dropped 4 places to 31st. 

The next FIFA Rankings will be published at the end of November.
