Karlovic Returns With A Win – I Thought Career Was Over

After a two-month forced break from the game due to illness that nearly ended his career, Croatian tennis player Ivo Karlovic has made a successful return to the court in his first match back.

The big serving giant, who was hospitalised with viral meningtits for close to a month, beat Canadian Edouard Roger-Vasselin in Newport 7:6, 6:4 in his return on Tuesday. “It was so good to play again, to win or lose is not important. Just two months ago I thought it was all over.
