Kandinsky exhibition coming to Zagreb

An exhibition of paintings from great Russian artist Wassily Kandinsky will be held next year at Zagreb’s Art Pavilion in the Croatian capital…

The exhibition will be part of events marking the 25th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Russia, the 50th anniversary of the friendship between Saint Petersburg and Zagreb and Croatia and the 150th anniversary of Kandinsky’s birth.

An exhibition of selected works from Saint Petersburg’s Hermitage Museum will also take place at Zagreb’s Klovicevi Dvori gallery in 2018, it was announced at a press conference on Saturday attended by Russian Ambassador Anvar Azimov, Hermitage Museum deputy director George Vilinbakhov, and Zagreb Mayor Milan Bandic.
