International summer school of Croatian language and culture to be held on island of Krk

ZAGREB, Aug 2 (Hina) – The international summer school of Croatian language and culture for teachers and students of the Croatian language from the diaspora will be held in the town of Krk on the northern Adriatic island of the same name from August 15 to 22 despite the coronavirus pandemic, the programme coordinator Sanja Vulic told Hina on Friday. 

The programme is organised by the Faculty of Croatian Studies of the University of Zagreb and is part of a project aimed at promoting cooperation with Croatian communities abroad. It includes language and culture workshops and lectures, quizzes and instructive outings combining learning and entertainment.

This year students will come from Germany, Hungary and Argentina.
