Goran Čolak Sets New Guinness Record After 23 Minutes Underwater

Goran_ČolakCroatian Goran Čolak has set a new Guinness free-diving record on Friday…

Čolak broke his own Guinness world record in static apnea on pure oxygen (timed breath hold) by 31 seconds on the island of Vir yesterday, when he successfully held his breath for an amazing 23 minutes and 1 second.

“The physical demands are not that big, it is more difficult psychologically to endure. How far can I go? Honestly, I’m not even close to that line. This is a really great feeling. It was simultaneously nice and challenging to do it in front of such a big crowd and live on TV and internet,” said Čolak after his world record effort.
