German Tourist Hit By Boat Propeller

A 74-year-old German national is fighting for his life in a Split hospital after being caught by a boat propeller on the Makarska Riviera, reports daily Jutarnji list. A 31-year-old man had just set off on his boat at around 17:30 on Thursday afternoon near Baska Voda when the propeller from his boat’s motor caught the German tourist. The propeller caught the man, who was diving in the vicinity of the boat at the same time the boat set off from the small port, by the leg. The 74-year-old suffered serious injuries and was rushed to a Split hospital.
