German Cup: Mandzukic Scores Again

Croatian international Mario Mandzukic’s goal scoring purple patch continues. The tall 27-year-old striker has been scoring for fun and again found the back of the net on Tuesday night in the semi-final of the German Cup.

Mandzukic opened the scoring in his Bayern Munich side 6-1 victory over fellow Croat Ivica Olic’s Wolfsburg at Munich’s Allianz Arena. Red hot Mandzukic however will be sitting out the 1st leg of Bayern’s other important semi-final, the UEFA Champions League semi-final against Barcelona later this month after getting yellow carded in their quarter-final match against Juventus.
