Former Croatian FA President Dies

Vlatko_MarkovicFormer Croatian FA President Vlatko Marković has passed away on Monday in Zagreb aged 77, reports daily Jutarnji list. Marković,  who was replaced at the helm of Croatian football by Davor Šuker last year after 14 years in charge, was battling a serious illness and had been hospitalised. Marković was capped 16 times for Yugoslavia, and had managed both of Croatia’s biggest clubs, Hajduk Split and Dinamo Zagreb. He also managed French club Nice and Austria Vienna.
