First Self-Service Hotel In Croatia

The first self-service hotel is set to open in Croatia. The hotel will be located in Sveti Kriz Zacretje in the Krapina-Zagorje County in northern Croatia.

The hotel will have 60 rooms and guests will reserve rooms on the internet and be able to enter their rooms with their credit card, meaning the hotel is likely to only employ around 10 people.

Director and part-owner of the Roses Fashion Outlet where the hotel will be situated, announced that the hotel will open its doors just after Croatia enter the EU.

“It will be a self-service hotel which, and as far as I am aware, does not yet exist in Croatia. One hotel group will outfit the hotel but will not invest until Croatia enters the EU,” said Roman Rogovic to Poslovni dnevnik, about the 400,000 euro project.
