First Monna cycling point in the world installed in Trogir

TROGIR, 28 July 2019 – Late last year, Croatian smart bench manufactures Include unveiled a brand new product at the Smart City EXPO World Congress in Barcelona, the Monna cycling point. Last week Trogir, on Croatia’s Dalmatian coast, became the first location in the world to install it.  

Three years after the initial creation of Steora smart bench, Include introduced the most advanced multifunctional bench ever designed – Monna. The solar-powered Monna cycling point comes with multiple functionalities – bike racks and electrical sockets for charging electric bicycles, bike repairing tools, wireless charging pad and charging ports for wired phones, night illumination, data collecting and more and last week it was installed for the first time.

“The city of Trogir became the first city in Croatia and abroad with installed Monna cycling point. Besides all standard functions – USB & wireless charging, bike racks, repairing tools, and electrical sockets for charging electric bicycles, this Monna has a billboard for classical paper advertising and CCTV camera,” Include said.

“While designing our electrical sockets, we had safety of Monna users in mind, adding two layers of user protection. Sockets automatically shut down when it rains or when exceeding energy consumption limit. Monna Country is our most powerful cycling point model, designed for countryside locations, such as countryside cycling routes, hills, etc.Its basic functions are 100% solar powered, and do not require any additional power supply, or infrastructural adjustments.”
