First Day Of Freedom: Coffee, Prsut, Cheese

Ante Gotovina spent his first day as a free man with friends and family at his home in the Zagreb suburb of Srebrnjak after earlier inviting journalists into his house for coffee this morning.

“The feeling has not settled in yet, everything will happen in time. I missed my family and freinds the most. I have not even thought about plans for the weekend,” said Gotovina about his new found freedom, before  inviting the waiting journalists inside for a morning coffee.

When asked about his plans, Gotovina said he would probably go to the coast next week to “lift his sails” as he also missed the sea.

Late on Saturday afternoon, Gotovina was pictured entering his house with a whole smoked ham, whilst close friend Zeljko Dilber was bringing in cheese as they prepared for more celebrations tonight.
