Boyuan Feng has become the first Chinese player in the history of the Croatian first division after signing for NK Rudeš, the club confirmed this weekend.

Feng was one of four signings presented by the newly-promoted Zagreb-based club.

The 22-year-old has come on loan from Liaoning FC in the Chinese Super League, where he has been playing during his whole professional career.

Feng made his senior debut and scored his first goal in a 3–1 win against Chengdu Qianbao in the 2016 Chinese FA Cup. Later that season he made his Super League debut in a 3–0 home loss against Guangzhou Evergrande.

“He plays as a Center-Forward and also as a Striker. He is normally right-footed, but is also good with his left foot,” the club said.

Born in Nanjing, Feng has arrived at NK Rudeš on a one-year loan and is now the first Chinese player in the history of the Hrvatski Telekom Prva Liga (Croatian first division).
