The first cafe in Croatia where you can hang out with cats whilst you enjoy a coffee has opened today in the capital Zagreb.

Cat Caffe Zagreb opened at 6 Kušlanova street on Monday morning for the first time and judging by crowds today it seems the cafe could be a popular spot.

Seven cats, who have been saved from local shelters and have been vaccinated and civilized, live at the cafe and guests can come and play with them and enjoy a drink at the same time.

The cat cafe concept first started in Asia before spreading to the United States and onto Europe. Guests have to be careful they do not get too attached to the cats as they are not able to be adopted.

Cat Caffe Zagreb is open from 8 am to 11 pm daily.
