Facebook Group Telling Croats to Leave Croatia Becomes Huge Hit

A facebook group set up to encourage young Croats to leave the country has become a hit, collecting more than 15,000 members in just days, writes Croatian portal Danas.hr.

The group “Mladi Napustimo Hrvatsku” (Young People Leave Croatia) was formed earlier this month and has taken off like wildfire amongst the youth in the country. The founder of the site, a Croatian economist, says that aim of the group is not only to encourage young Croats to go abroad.

“It is to offer the youth a chance to go out into the world and see all the nice things and to take the good and bring it back to Croatia”, says the founder, who insists that the group was not set up as a self-promotion but as a tool to help people.
