Ex-Dinamo Zagreb Coach Dies Aged 60

Zagreb’s well-travelled former coach Josip Kuze has died on Sunday in Croatia after a short battle with leukaemia, the club said.

Kuze (60) was also a former defender at the club and a favourite with the club’s Bad Blue Boys supporters. Kuze played 384 times for Dinamo Zagreb throughout his career. Kuze had two stints in charge of the Maksimir club, once from 1989-1991, and then again in 2005-2006.

Kuze coached Rwanda, Albania and clubs in Australia, Germany, Japan and China.
