Eurovision 2021: Croatia’s song No.1 in fan poll

ZAGREB, 10 March 2021 – Croatia’s song for the 2021 Eurovision contest is the early favourite, according to a poll on the world’s most-read independent Eurovision-devoted website wiwibloggs.

Albina Grčić from Split will sing the song “Tick-Tock” for Croatia at this year’s Eurovision song contest in Rotterdam and the song is the most popular to win after more than 12,000 votes from Eurovision fans. 

Albina received 10.74% of all votes cast so far in the poll which was launched on Sunday. 

Romania’s Roxen, who will sing “Amnesia”, was second with 8.71% of all votes cast. In third place is Cyprus’ Elena Tsagrinou with “El Diablo” which took 8.01% of the votes. Italy’s Måneskin and France’s Barbara Pravi completed the top five.

Eurovision will take place from 18-22 May and will be the 65th edition of the song contest. Croatia has participated in the Eurovision Song Contest 25 times since making its debut at the 1993 contest. Croatia’s best result in the contest is fourth-place finishes in 1996 (Maja Blagdan) and 1999 (Doris Dragović).

10. Estonia: Uku Suviste “Lucky One” 4.39% (538 votes)

11. Ireland: Lesley Roy “Maps” 4.04% (495 votes)

12. Moldova: Natalia Gordienko “Sugar” 3.22% (394 votes)

13. Australia: Montaigne “Technicolour” 3.01% (369 votes)

14. Belgium: Hooverphonic “The Wrong Place” 2.98% (365 votes)

15. Norway: TIX “Fallen Angel” 2.93% (359 votes)

16. Albania: Anxhela Peristeri “Karma” 2.11% (259 votes)

17. Portugal: The Black Mamba “Love Is On My Side” 2.03% (248 votes)

18. Czech Republic: Benny Cristo “Omaga” 1.89% (231 votes)

19. Germany: Jendrik “I Don’t Feel Hate” 1.66% (203 votes)
