EURO 2020: Information for Croatian fans

ZAGREB, 5 February 2020 – The Croatian Football Federation has shared with fans additional information about tickets for UEFA EURO 2020, including a warning about the unauthorised resale of tickets and the possibility of replacing or refunding purchased tickets.

Last week, UEFA held the ticket draw for the Croatian national team matches at Euro 2020, after which all fans were informed of the status of their entry.

Below is information from the Croatian Football Federation.

TICKET RESALES

Unfortunately, as is usual for major competitions due to the great interest of fans in each participating country, Euro 2020 tickets have appeared on various advertisements and other channels on the “black market”.

We would like to warn the fans that in no case should you buy tickets through any channels that are not official (UEFA only), as they will not be able to enter matches with such a ticket. Tickets are personalised and are in electronic format for the first time. The special entry control will be highly sophisticated, strict and thorough and only people who have a valid electronic ticket on their first and last name will be able to enter the stadium.

UEFA, on the other hand, will allow Croatian fans to offer their purchased tickets for sale at face value through euro2020.com/tickets (via the official ticket resale platform). UEFA will subsequently issue a notification when the said platform will open.

CHANGING TICKETS

Once the order is completed, no subsequent modification or cancellation is possible. In other words, it is not possible to change the selected match (or matches), the amount or category of tickets, or the personal data of the ticket holder.

At this stage, it is only possible to pay for all the tickets or to cancel the entire purchase by not making a payment. Subsequently, it will be possible to sell any single ticket already purchased at face value through the official Uefa Ticket Resale Platform.

PAYMENT

Tickets can be purchased with VISA and MasterCard credit or debit cards, which can be purchased online or through the Alipay platform. If you have such a card and your purchase is unsuccessful, check with your bank for limits on the daily limit given the relatively large amounts required to buy Euro tickets.

BUYING TICKETS LATER

The Croatian Football Federation will not have tickets for this competition. All tickets available for Croatian fans are sold through UEFA.

UEFA has announced another round of ticket sales, which will include all unpaid and unused tickets, and then the sale will be on a “first in first served” principle. Please follow UEFA’s pages where everything will be published on time.
