Dubrovnik Riviera finalist for world’s best tourism video

3 October 2019 – A tourism film promoting Croatia’s Dubrovnik-Neretva county is one of the finalists for the world’s best tourism film video.

Dubrovnik Riviera is a finalists in the CIFFT “People’s Choice” Award World’s Best Tourism Film and Travel video 2019. The CIFFT “People’s Choice” Award is an online voting competition promoted by the International Committee of Tourism Film Festivals (CIFFT) for all the films that participate in the Grand Prix CIFFT Circuit and compete for the title of the World’s Best Tourism Films. 

The 4-minute promotional film, which was produced by Balduči Film from Zagreb, directed by Herve Tirmarche and producer Spomenko Saraga, features authentic gastronomy, magical island beaches, natural beauty, food and wine, sport and recreation, entertainment, and cultural and historical heritage of the Dubrovnik-Neretva County all which are recognised by many tourists of all generations.

The concept of the film was jointly created by Balduči Film and Dubrovnik-Neretva County Tourist Board. The Dubrovnik–Neretva County is the southernmost Croatian county, located in south Dalmatia. The county seat is Dubrovnik and other large towns are Korčula, Metković, Opuzen and Ploče. 

The film has won a number of awards since it was released in September 2018, including a silver award at the Golden City Gate awards at the 53rd ITB Berlin, and two awards at the World Tourism Film Festival in Japan.
