Drive-in movies will return to Zagreb this month.
DriveINkino will be held in the Croatian capital for the sixth year in a row over two weekends – 28-29 April & 5-6 May 2018.
Hugely popular in the late 1950’s and early 1960’s across the United States, drive-in movie theaters were favourites among families with babies, meaning they could take the baby along, and also teenagers with drivers licenses who found the drive-ins the ideal place for a date.
The Croatian Student Association presents their unique Drive-in Kino Zagreb this year over two weekends at Poligon Kockice in Prisavlje. Movie-goers who turn up in their cars can listen to the movie on a radio station, whilst those who come carless will hear the movie over the PA system.
Movies will start at 9 pm, including screenings of “Baby Driver’, “Ustava Republike Hrvatske” and “La La Land”. Entry is free.
