Dream UEFA Europa League Start For Croatian Clubs

It was a dream start for Croatian clubs participating in Europa League qualifying on Thursday night, as all three sides recorded wins to give them an advantage going into the second legs. Probably the biggest upset of all was in the Belarusian capital city of Minsk where unfancied Lokomotiva from Zagreb beat Dinamo Minsk. All return legs will be held next week.

Rijeka – Prestatyn 5-0 (Benko 19, 23, 59, Jugović 67, Zlomislić 85)
Hajduk Split – Turnovo 2-1 (Bencun 8, Maloca 79 / Blazevski 45)
Dinamo Minsk – Lokomotiva 1-2 ( Veselinović / Šitum 11, Misic 41)
