Dinamo Zagreb Juniors Win UAE Tournament

Dinamo Zagreb’s Youth team from Croatia have won the strong Al Ain International Football Youth Championship in the United Arab Emirates. Dinamo Zagreb beat the hosts Al Ain in the final 6:4 on penalties after the scores were locked at 2:2 after 90 minutes.

Dinamo Zagreb beat Celtic and Inter Milan on the way to the Saturday’s final and coach Igor Cvitanovic was proud of his youngsters.
“I nearly had a heart attack on the bench!,” said the former Croatia striker after the penalty shoot-out, before adding “I believed in these boys, who from the first match showed that they were the best team at the tournament,” said Cvitanovic.

Dinamo Zagreb’s line up for the final: Mikulić, Bartolec, Prenga, Capan, Crnčević, F. Leko (od 84. Tolić), Biljan, Alvir, Murić, Kolar (52. Nuriši), Budimir (75. Kolak).
