Dinamo Zagreb Champions of the World After Beating AC Milan at Old Trafford

Dinamo Zagreb’s U-15 football side from Croatia are the best club side in the world, after they beat AC Milan 2:1 in extra time at Old Trafford in Manchester in the final of the prestigious Nike Premier Cup.

Dinamo Zagreb beat AC Milan, Shandong, Boca Juniors, Ulsan Hyundai and Arsenal to get through to Friday’s final held at the famous ‘theatre of dreams’. The win is a huge achievement for the club and affirms the bright future Croatia has in the football arena.

“We are proud of our success. We realised our dreams by making it through to the final to play at the beautiful “theatre of dreams’ in Manchester, and winning the title will be something none of us will ever forget,” said coach Kresimir Gojun. More than 8,000 club sides from all over the globe try to qualify to play in the annual tournament.
