The Davis Cup trophy, nicknamed the ‘salad bowl’, will arrive in Croatia this month before going on display at the Museum of Arts and Crafts in Zagreb.

Last month the Croatian team – Marin Čilić, Ivan Dodig, Borna Ćorić, Mate Pavić, Franko Škugor, Viktor Galović, Nikola Mektić and coach Željko Krajan – beat France in Lille to win the 2018 Davis Cup.

The trophy, which will be on display at the museum until November 2019, was made in 1899. The three-tied trophy is 110 cm tall, 107 cm wide and features the names of all the winners on it.

This is the second time that the famous trophy will go on display in Croatia. In 2005, the trophy was also displayed at the Museum of Arts and Crafts after Croatia won the title for the first time.
