Croatia’s agricultural production value in 2020 grows by 4.7%

Croatian agriculture production grows
ZAGREB, Nov 28 (Hina) – The Agriculture Ministry said on Saturday that preliminary figures released by the national statistical office (DZS) showed that agricultural production in 2020 grew by 4.7% from 2019, or from HRK 17.9 billion to 18.8 billion.
Also, an increase in net value-added and productivity of close to 10% has been reported.
Minister Marija Vuckovic has said that data on the increase in net value-added and productivity lead to a conclusion that the growth could be of a more lasting nature.
“One should wait for the final figures, which in recent years have always been more favourable than the preliminary ones,” said the minister.
