Croatian Women’s Karate Team Champions Of Europe

The Croatian women’s karate team are the champions of Europe for the first time in history. Croatia won gold on points differential after drawing 1-1 in the final with France in Budapest. Croatia, consisting of Ivona Tubic, Azra Sales, Ana-Marija Celan and Ana Lenard, won Croatia’s first ever medal in the 48-year European Championship history. More than 550 competitors from 45 countries were competing at this year’s European Championship. (pic: APP)
