A double junior Grand Slam champion (Australian Open, US Open), Konjuh is one of the brightest stars in world tennis with many former stars predicting her to become a future top 10 player. The Dubrovnik-born Zagreb resident was too good for her more experienced opponent, winning the deciding set in a canter 6:2. Konjuh now faces American Lauren Davis in the next round.
