Croatian teams for European water polo champs named

ZAGREB, 7 January 2020 – The Croatian men’s and women’s water polo teams for the upcoming European Championships in Hungary have been named on Tuesday. 

The Croatian men’s team will be hoping to improve on their bronze medal from 2018 when the 2020 LEN European Water Polo Championships start in Budapest on 12 January. 

Today, coach Ivica Tucak confirmed his final squad. 

Players: Marko Bijač, Ivan Marcelić, Andro Bušlje, Marko Macan, Hrvoje Benić, Maro Joković, Javier Garcia, Lovre Fatović, Luka Bukić, Luka Lončar, Josip Vrlić

Management: Ivica Tucak, Mile Smodlaka, Sandro Sukno, Pero Kuterovac, Igor Pezelj, Damir Luketić

The Croatian women’s team have also qualified for the European Champs and today the final squad was named. 

Players: Dina Lordan, Petra Bukić, Emmi Miljković, Matea Skelin, Domina Butić, Ivana Butić, Ema Carević, Ana Miroslavić, Mia Topić, Julija Božan, Bruna Barišić, Alexandra Ratković, Natasha Trojan
